The Orientation to the Kitchen eLearning module includes the skills and knowledge required to maintain a professional appearance, follow workplace safety guidelines, identify kitchen tools and equipment and proper techniques to use them safely, kitchen terminology, cooking methods, food handling and storage, and accepted sanitation principles. Learners who complete the module will be able to communicate and work safely in any professional kitchen.
