Line Cook eLearning from Emerit delivers the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective line cook in the Canadian tourism sector. Learning content is based on the Line Cook National Occupational Standards, which are developed in consultation with industry experts and practitioners and cover all aspects of working as a professional in the occupation.
Emerit Line Cook eLearning is divided into seven modules, covering the kitchen and its daily operations, and how to prepare all types of food safely and efficiently. Also included are two related microlearning modules on vocabulary around breakfast foods and kitchen equipment. Learners can explore all modules in sequence, or choose modules that cover areas where their skills and knowledge may need improvement.
