Navigating Inclusive Tourism Workplaces eLearning will encourage, support, and strengthen tourism’s ability to foster inclusive, diverse, equitable, accessible, and leading (IDEAL) workplaces and provide meaningful employment experience for people with disabilities.
Tourism workers at any level of their career will be able to understand disability and accessibility inclusion in the workplace, identify potential barriers to inclusion, and understand benefits of remote work opportunities. They will also be able to describe mental health, mental illness, and substance use disorders, describe tools to improve accommodations in the workplace, and help create IDEAL tourism workplaces.
Navigating Inclusive Tourism Workplaces eLearning contains eight modules. Some modules have been designed for all levels of tourism staff—frontline workers, managers/supervisors, and senior leaders—while others were designed for a specific level.
